A heavily forested mountain region, it’s Wildlife Sanctuary provides habitat to wildlife such as the Markhor, ibex, snow leopard, grey wolf, and red fox. The Naltar Ski Resort is Pakistan’s oldest ski resort at an elevation of 9,680 ft, which supports the Ski Federation of Pakistan and hosts the Pakistan National Ski Championship.
